The Attorney is actively involved in the litigation process and/or trial, from the pre-suit phase all the way to the successful settlement and closing of the client’s case. Additionally, the Attorney will provide legal advice to assigned clients, manage a diverse portfolio of assigned cases, assist with negotiations of settlement while preparing for litigation on all matters and display professionalism with clients and colleagues alike through their effective communication skills, attention to detail and dedication to each assignment and task.
REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Proficient in drafting motions and responses to motions
Proficient in drafting and responding to written discovery and pleadings
Personal experience in managing case development, including the investigation of facts, engaging and interviewing clients, experts, and witnesses, and developing a solid case strategy
LICENSE:Texas State Bar (Required)

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice in the State of Texas (required)
Admitted to practice in Texas federal district courts (highly preferred)
2+ years of civil litigation experience (required)
Admitted to practice in other states (preferred)
Admitted to practice in federal district courts of other states (preferred)
EXPERIENCE:
First-party insurance: 2 years (Required)
Civil litigation: 2 years (Required)
