Born and raised in Galveston, Peyton Turnbow brings a strong work ethic, compassionate spirit, and deep community roots to the Chad Wilson Law Firm team. She began working at just 14 years old and has built a career defined by dedication, adaptability, and a genuine desire to help others.
Before joining the firm in September 2025, Peyton spent four years in medical administration at UTMB as a Patient Service Specialist before transitioning into the legal field as a Legal and Executive Assistant. Her background in both healthcare and personal injury law gives her a unique understanding of the challenges clients face and the compassion needed to guide them through difficult times. Peyton takes pride in being organized, detail-oriented, and proactive—someone who can be counted on to handle complex administrative tasks with professionalism and care.
Peyton believes that every client deserves to be heard, understood, and helped toward a better tomorrow. Her commitment to excellent service, clear communication, and efficient support helps ensure that clients receive the attention and respect they deserve throughout their legal journey.
Outside of work, Peyton loves a good road trip to chase a country concert, relaxing movie nights with the best snacks, and evenings watching the sunset over her family’s pasture of horses. She also enjoys planning events, playing golf with her boyfriend, and spending weekends cheering on her two boys, ages 12 and 5, at basketball and baseball games.
A true “BOI” (Born on the Island), Peyton comes from a large Galveston family. Her grandfather, Jerome “Pops” Kunz, is a well-known island shrimper who still works the Gulf at 92 years old and lives by the motto, “If you rest, you rust.” That same spirit of perseverance and hard work is something Peyton carries with her every day. Her favorite number, 33, holds special family and biblical meaning and serves as a reminder of faith, strength, and purpose.
