Cinthia Bonilla is a first-generation Salvadoran American, born and raised in New Jersey. She earned her BA in International Relations and Spanish, driven by a passion for global issues and language. Early in her career, Cinthia demonstrated her commitment to community service as a site leader for Catholic Charities in Trenton and as an AmeriCorps member.
A transformative study abroad experience in Alcalá de Henares, Spain, sparked Cinthia’s lifelong love for travel and expanded her understanding of diverse cultures and business practices. She later earned her law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston, where she gained hands-on experience through both the Criminal Defense and Immigration Clinics, enhancing her skills in these vital areas of law.
After law school, Cinthia worked as an immigration law clerk, assisting clients with navigating the complexities of immigration law. She then joined a respected personal injury firm, where she passionately advocated for clients seeking justice and fair compensation for their injuries.
Outside of her legal practice, Cinthia enjoys spending time in nature, cuddling with her Maltipoo, Sol, and cherishing moments with her family. She also has a strong interest in forensic psychology, often exploring criminal behavior through books and television.
