
Mr. Johns is a trial lawyer who is admitted to practice law in Louisiana, Texas, Florida, and Georgia. Mr. Johns began his career representing some of the nation’s largest insurance companies in casualty, maritime, and personal injury cases.
Over the last several years, Mr. Johns has represented hundreds of residential and commercial policyholders in connection with property damage and bad faith insurance claims. Mr. Johns’ past defense experience provides him with tremendous insight into how insurers handle and evaluate claims.
In addition to handling a large volume of property and casualty cases, Mr. Johns also has significant experience handling complex insurance coverage and personal injury matters, maritime claims, and business disputes.
Mr. Johns is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, and American Association for Justice.
Mr. Johns earned his Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University where he graduated cum laude and served as the co-editor of The Digest and captain of the arbitration team. Mr. Johns holds an LL.M. in Admiralty From Tulane University. Mr. Johns graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University with Bachelor of Science and Arts degrees.
When Mr. Johns is not assisting clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, and, when time allows, tinkering with his guitar collection.
